This gif showcased an intriguing effect from a modeled sheet metal object using Solidworks 2016. The rendering was done with Simlab Composer 8 Mechanical Edition. Editing the frames was accomplished with Virtualdub, resulting in AVI/X264 and BMP files. MyMP4BoxGui was used for remuxing videos to MP4 format. PhotoScape created GIFs, while IrfanView edited renders. The model can be accessed in various formats including Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 8, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, DWF and FBX. Additionally, SIMLAB files are animated.
