My very first printed design was a Kinect Xbox 360 tripod mount, and it marked the beginning of a new era in my DIY projects. I had acquired the Kinect for its capabilities in 3D scanning, but soon discovered that using it to scan objects with KScan3D would be infinitely easier if I could attach it securely to my tripod. I chose a straightforward design featuring pegs that perfectly aligned with existing slots on the base of my Kinect - pure genius in simplicity!
