Here's this for anyone who might find it useful: A whole body 3D scanner made possible with Kinect V1 in case someone needs to use an aluminum profile 3030. Nema 17 or 23 can be used, and the timing belt clamp is specifically designed for gt 2.0 timing belts. The idler works perfectly with a 608 bearing and m8 screws along with some washers. Materials needed: * Any height aluminum profile 3030 * Bearing 608 * M8 bolt or equivalent * Nuts * Washers * Stepper motor nema 23/17 * Pulley for open end belt-gt2 * Micro-controller (Arduino recommended) * Kinect device * Bluetooth enabled Android device (optional) To build this whole body scanner, first print the required parts - Kinect holder 1pc, stepper motor holder 1pc and a timing belt clamp 1pc. Assemble these components and install your micro-controller according to the provided code. This is not an actual assembly instruction, rather an idea that anyone with necessary materials can execute.
