This is a sturdy mount for a Kinect sensor designed with security in mind while also allowing easy removal of the sensor. Unlike many other mounts available on Thingiverse, this one prioritizes both strength and accessibility. Secure sliding lugs are used to firmly lock the Kinect sensor into place, with 20mm M3 bolts and embedded nuts securing these lugs tightly. The mount can be attached to either an Arca-style tripod mount or a 19 or 25.4mm pole mount using a standard 1/4" bolt commonly found in camera equipment. Pole mounts utilize M5 bolts with embedded nuts for added security. Two grooves, positioned 10mm off-center, are integrated into the sensor mount to accommodate 30.0 x 2.0 x 1.2mm ridges as seen on Arca or pole clamps. These grooves prevent the clamp from twisting on the mount and can be used as a reference for designing custom clamps that resist loosening or twisting.
