Kinect Holder and Handgrip
thingiverse
This creation is an improvement of "The Hammerhead - Handheld Kinect Grip" by Toni Buser https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:18125. I noticed a few minor details that could be done differently, so here it is. However, the grip designed by Tony Buser is truly exceptional. I wrote an instructable on how to assemble this entire project at https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Assemble-the-Kinect-Grip-of-CatweazleMagic/. I believe this information will be helpful. To succeed with this project, you'll need the following: - 4x Socket head Cap Screw (Din 912) M3x12 or longer - 2x Socket head Cap Screw (Din 912) M3x25 - 6x Washer (Din 125A) M3 - 6x Hexagon Nuts (Din934) M3 - 4x Springs Du Ø4.6, D Ø0.6, L25, N10 - 1x 1/4" Tripod Screw (available for purchase at some Chinese online stores for a few cents) - 1x Knurled Nut (Din466) M5 - 1x Plain Rubber Washer SAE AS 568A NBR 219 (8.5 x 3 x 19) - 1x piece of plain rubber I mm thick (an old tire tube or similar material will work) - ¼ liter fine sand (any type will do, although calculations were based on north sea dune sand) You'll also need: - A pair of scissors - A pair of side cutting pliers - A set of Allen keys - A piece of sandpaper (any grade will suffice) - Two-component PU adhesive - Cheap crimping pliers (ensure you check the usage before making a purchase) - A file (for trimming brambles) - A sliding caliper - A countersink bore - A Ø 5 mm bore - A small, sharp knife (anything will work as long as you're comfortable handling it and don't cut yourself) I hope you'll enjoy this project. Best regards, CatweazleMagic
