Human: An iris dimmer for iron sights of an AK form rifle with a side mount. Designed for, and tested on, Arsenal SAR-M1 rifles. WHAT IT DOES: Aging eyes struggle to focus on the front sight and rear sight notch and target on AK rifles - and similar ones like SKS - which is why this device was created. Viewing through a 1.5mm hole (drill it larger if that doesn't fit you) makes the sight picture look 20 years younger. To sum it up: watching standard AK iron sights through this device makes them much closer to diopter sights, which are known for their clear and precise aiming capabilities. The device has no locking system but it is made tight and printed from PLA, making it lightweight. In testing, it did not move at all during a magazine dump (30 rounds). Print the body on its "left" side as viewed from behind the rifle. Print the eye pieces standing on the surface closest to your eye. This way, quality will be fine. On my gun, the "diopter1" piece was suitable for 100 meters and the "diopter3.5" piece was suitable for 300 meter settings.
