<p>The Killers (the band) LED Lantern.</p><p>Used "LED Fairy Lights" warped around a small light stand inside an upside down glass Jar (3in base). Has 8 panels with 5 unique designs, plus top plate with its own design and a base plate to hold the jar and slot for led power cord.</p><p>Gift for Girlfriend Feb 2017.</p><p>If you make this, or use the frame with your own design make sure to post picture here! (they we VERY close to fitting nicely, I just trimmed it with a knife and forced it). So you might want to scale down the side panels (VERY slightly), or make the top and bottom slightly bigger to make things fit better.</p><p>You know your printer, you can make some test prints and try it out.</p><p>I uploaded the Skeckup models, so you can change their fit as well.<br>Also you can open the Skeckup models and delete the killers panel designs and replace them with your own art, its very modular.</p><p>More Info:<br>If you are going to use just frame you might want to run some test prints. When I printed all the parts, the fit was fine on their own, but when it came time to put in the last panel all the tolerance build up for bottom length of the panels made it a little too small to squeeze in place. I ended up shaving some material off to make it work.</p><p>This is also true for the side connecting interfaces, might have to shave a bit off to make them fit nice. But these tolerance are going to be based on your printer.</p><p>When it came to the top the slot to fit all the parts was not wide enough. The first few layers on my printer were way bigger then they should have been, so nothing could slide in. You can make it bigger in yourself in sketchup, or just hot glue it together anyway (what I did, but then the top wont come off).</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Category: Art</p>
