Quite a bit larger than an Imperial Baneblade, a Kill Grinda Mega Fortress is truly a fearsome idol of the brutish Ork gods: On massive, krushin' trakks, armed with weapons capable of destroying entire hab blocks with one shot, they rumble onwards, where da fORKtress Kaptains points them to. Only the most powerful Warbosses have 'nuff teef to pay the bestest meks to build these mega-super-heavy assault vehicles. An IMPORTANT note for the scale :D - Quote of an imperial agent during a massive Ork encounter on Fungusius Primus: "Big Mek Gutgrinda once build this thing at a scale of a Baneblade (~79%).... he was KRUSHED and GRINDED brutally to deff by WAAAGHBOSS Gobba Gitkrusha's 'GORKAfORKress' (100% scale)" ;-) ------- FOR BEST PRINT QUALITY , PLEASE READ ALL(!) OF BELOW: -------- I REALLY recommend a layer hight of 0.075 or lower for all parts to get the quality I intended. Please see the pics, those are all printed in FDM (<=0,075mm)! All parts are printed without tree supports, some parts don't need supports, but please decide for your self. :) ---------------- EXCEPTIONAL 'fings for this model: ------------------ ---------- Over all printing recommendation! ---------- Many parts have a "flat surface" -> face those to the build plate. Keep in mind, the z-axies does the detailed job! Detailed sides / most visible sides should be faced towards the cooling fan. The supa gattla can fit two 5x3mm magnet to be rotatable. The "KillGindaMegaFortress_SupaGattla_Pin.stl" does a similar job, but not as good, I guess... although I never tested the magnets. The main gun can be assembled in 3 ways: - Mega Zzappa - Nukular Shell (with or without spacer, as you like) - None of both I printed the supa gattla ammo without a raft, but if you have problems with adhesion, use a raft. -> If you have concerns about the sharp corners of the ammo belt in FMD, you have the right feeling, but "in the end it doesn't matter", you will not see this issue after assembly. -> enable "print thin walls" in cura or equivalent in your slicer. Arrange the lobbas ("KillGrindaMegaFortress_Lobbas02 - 07 & _LazerMarker) as you like, view all files in e.g. 3D Builder or Meshmixer to see how I designed them. The "Lazer sight"-bit is optional, you can replace it with an additional lobba as you like. ---------- Assembly ---------- All parts have a arritation point, so just "move" them until they snap or feel right. - If you need instructions: just open all files in 3D Builder or e.g. Meshmixer. There you can look where all parts belong to. ---------- FOLLOWING: ---------- Shame less beggin' for some coins for coffein I need doin' stuff like that :-) Please consider a tip ....this highly detailed model was a work of 100h+ of free time! If you do so, I HIGHLY APPRECIATE YOUR GENEROSITY :-) Kind regards, Tersus
