My daughter is absolutely captivated by anime right now, I've been busy crafting sun catchers and here's Kiki. This sun catcher was printed using simple materials with no complicated multi-material mechanisms. The frame functions similarly to the lead found in stained glass windows. It must be printed with transparent filament, featuring a switch to black at the layer where the lead lines would typically appear. Upon completion, the colored pieces are carefully glued into their corresponding gaps within the frame. I utilized PVA glue and allowed it to set over several days. The tolerances on this design are extremely tight, so you might need to sand down the parts slightly to ensure a smooth fit, depending on your printer's precision.
