Kids to Work Day ROV

I've prepared a drawing set to guide kids in assembling the basic components of an ROV during "Take Your Kid to Work Day" at our plant. The included PowerPoint document (ROV Assy Instructions.pptx) outlines each step of hardware assembly. Future updates may include wiring instructions and control box details. However, we've noticed that moving the port and starboard thrusters to the vertical columns might help prevent rapid surfacing issues. I plan to capture video during the event for additional reference. The set includes a 3-bladed propeller (from a submarine toy), CPVC Piping (5/8" OD x 1/2" ID), an LED with standoff, a cable tie holder (McMaster 7566K27), a motor (McMaster-Carr part number 6331k21), a SPDT toggle switch, and a 2x AA battery holder. We're considering contact springs (from 3DContentCentral) and have placed a large toggle switch and switch box order (NKK Switches and outlet box) on hold for now.
