For standard-sized pens and pencils, feel free to scale your prints and lengthen the design. The ruler serves as the handle, with toppers that plug into the side for secure locking when on the move. Prior to publication, the designer ensured functionality by printing first. To assemble, print one base and one ruler, two topper parts, and a lid. Attach the lid by hooking it into the doughnut-shaped recess on one side and bending the other end over the base, locking it into place in the second doughnut recess.
