Kids Lace Shoes Velcro Adapter

I know a toddler who desperately needs orthotic ankle braces that fit snugly into his shoes without any issues. Unfortunately, none of the velcro shoes designed for kids have velcro strips long enough to cover the entire orthotic device and connect securely on the other side. As a result, he's had to rely on lace-up shoes, but tying them is clearly out of the question due to his age. I came up with a clever solution that enables him to use velcro on his lace-up shoes and put them on himself easily. I used just three strips of Klots and added a convenient spot for attaching the velcro strip.
