My girlfriend was discussing her son's desire to work out in the living room with her. Recognizing this as a chance to create some lightweight dumbbells for him, I took action. Since even a one-pound weight would likely exhaust him quickly, crafting a light plastic version seemed like an ideal solution! Designed to be printed without supports and glued together afterwards, these dumbbells should withstand repeated use. Initially, I designed one that threaded together, but unfortunately, it failed due to excessive stress and has already broken. Fortunately, these redesigned dumbbells are expected to last much longer.
