Kids Cruise Boat
thingiverse
Well, let's use that big CR-10 (30cmx30cm) build platform! Inspired by a massive cruise boat kids wanted their own smaller version, but with the twist of using small blocks. I had nothing better to do so here is my creation. It's a basic shape, leaving it up to the kids' imagination and creativity to make it seaworthy for the passengers. The rooms below deck can slide out to be easily accessible, making nice comfy rooms. Update: 12-05 Added lifeboat for safety... Update 24-05 Added ships bow deck rail, just for the looks and to recreate a Titanic experience (Fits only main deck version 4!). I designed it to be as much 3D printable as my Fusion 360 skills allowed and easy to assemble. However, there are still some challenges left, like the water slide! I printed the biggest part, which is the ships' main deck, and it just fits the printbed of my CR10-S. I uploaded a picture to prove it. The colors are all yours - you can paint the parts or get creative with the spools you have. To put all the parts together, you'll need glue! Don't forget to place the below-deck rooms first before gluing on the main deck. Use the explode view as a guide; there are some guide rails to mark the right positions of each component. Have fun making and please leave feedback if you print this thing - you will make my day! **LAST HINT** After collecting: Please revisit this thing page just before starting to actually print, maybe you missed an important update for one or more parts.
