I'm a biomedical engineering student at the University of Miami, specializing in tissue engineering - my focus is on developing scaffolds that mimic human organs. To achieve this, I designed a kidney model with a simple shape, then transformed it into a intricate lattice structure using advanced 3D printing techniques. The resulting print is complex, but it can be produced in one seamless operation and the support material easily removable.
