Chronic diffuse tuberculous nephritis in the kidneys is a complex condition marked by all stages of tissue reaction. Small, characteristic tubercles containing giant cells and areas of caseous necrosis can be found alongside larger caseous regions. Additionally, numerous lesions with varying degrees of degeneration and fibrosis are present between these tubercles and caseous areas.
