I'm working on an adapter mount for a Kidde smoke detector to secure it firmly to a ceiling mount. However, upon inspection, I found that the holes provided were too small for the screws I had chosen to use, necessitating some drilling to bring them up to size. Furthermore, the plate itself appears somewhat thin, prompting me to consider making some modifications to enhance its overall design and stability. Meanwhile, I'll retain my existing setup as is, using this adapter mount in its original form.
