Kid's Night Light

To make a low-cost and energy-efficient night light, first, gather a USB cable, unused USB mains plug, high output LED, and a 1K Ohm resistor. Cut the USB cable and strip its red and black wires; solder them to the LED and resistor. Plug the USB mains plug, insert the LED into the base, and screw the stem on top. For the shade, print NightLightMoon, NightLightMickey, or NightLightShStar. Slide it down over the stem, and your night light is complete! The running cost is minimal, and making costs are around £3.42 for plastic and any unused components found at home. Assembly takes approximately 10 minutes.
