Since my last kid car upgrade https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3723161, I've been wondering if a faster smoother running car could be too hazardous without a proper brake system in place. So, I decided to create something robust and functional. The Photo clearly illustrates how it's supposed to work. It relies on linear 8mm bearings and shafts, two springs, and a 10mm square pipe made of steel. Additionally, four M5 nuts and screws are used, along with 24mm wide flat aluminum components that have holes exactly 50mm apart for the screws. I plan to design some brake pads in the future to enhance grip. Just a few more steps, and I'll have a fantastic toy that I've always dreamed of as a child, one that's now too big for me to drive.
