I was fed up with my kickstand being broken and not wanting to shell out $30 for a new one, so I opted for a more affordable option. I then set about designing something that would make it work seamlessly. Initially, I hit a snag with the first designs as the tip wasn't broad enough and the part would dig into the ground, causing my bike to tilt precariously.
