Designed a kickstand replacement for the Nintendo Switch, with a focus on functionality over form. The current design doesn't rotate, but it quickly pops into place in both closed and open positions. While not the best stand available, it serves its purpose. A potential upgrade could involve designing a kickstand that prevents tipping to one side, but this would compromise its ability to fit within the dock. As an alternative, I envisioned a design that prioritizes protection for my microSD card, ensuring it remains safe in case of losing the original part. The challenge was not only about creating a useful accessory but also about pushing my skills as a 3D modeler.
