Kickr Risr

Kickr Risr

prusaprinters

A dumb block to rise a smart trainer. This block rises the Wahoo Kickr Core smart trainer by 30mm. Useful when using a steering device (e.g. the ELITE Sterzo Smart) to level your bike. The block provides two zip tie channels for fixing it to the trainer. A side effect of using the block(s) is the increased contact surface of the Kickr. This helps reducing vibrations when using a trainer mat since it doesn't sink so deep into the mat but that also reduces the friction so the trainer is more likely to move around. In my case this is even a plus because I often tilt my bike up and move the entire setup on the mat to make up for limited space. If you pull the zip ties tight, you also won't loose your rubber feet any longer.I used PETG with high infill, increased perimeters and top layers for strength. Included are  gcode files for 1 and 3 blocks so you can try a single one first and then print the remaining 3. Ride on!
