Kick and Go Scooter with Twin Auxiliary Drive Wheels
grabcad
A proposed scooter features an auxiliary wheel at its rear, which users will propel to transmit force to the main wheel via a gear system. This design allows the scooter to travel up to three times faster than the user's kicking speed, offering a more comfortable ride where the user can walk while the scooter moves. The scooter stands out from other "Kick and Go" models as it enables users to operate it using natural walking movements. A second model has two auxiliary wheels for better balance and customizable multiplication ratios. A patent application was filed in Spain, and designers are sought to bring this concept to life. Videos showcasing the scooter can be found on YouTube, while high-quality renderings and CAD designs are available online. The original scooter inspiration is Trotinette by Nicolas Trillard.
