This proposal aims to create a unique scooter design that maintains its existing advantages while introducing a mechanism for increased speed. By incorporating an auxiliary wheel, connected to the rear wheel via a simple gear system, the user can propel the scooter at higher speeds without needing to move their legs as quickly. The auxiliary wheel features a smaller diameter than the rear wheel and is positioned higher, allowing it to be operated like a standard scooter while avoiding ground contact during turns. A freewheel mechanism, similar to bicycles, enables users to rest their foot on the auxiliary wheel without slowing scooter progress.
