KGA-Velm - Miniaturbeilchen (Dechsel)
sketchfab
This prehistoric stone tool was discovered during our archaeological excavation at the Velm earthwork site in Himberg municipality. Earthworks are a Middle Neolithic phenomenon (4900 - 4500 BC) that primarily occur in low-lying areas of Hungary, Austria, Bohemia, and East Germany. The Velm earthwork site has been thoroughly investigated by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Archaeological Prospection and Virtual Archaeology using non-destructive methods over the past few years, making it one of the most extensively researched sites in Austria.
