KFB2.0 mount for 2020 extrusion with 80 mm fan for Tronxy X5S
thingiverse
I replaced the faulty Tronxy X5S board with a KFB2.0, which was an incredibly affordable option and allowed me to swap out the stepper controller. Since this new board is slightly taller than the original, I had to add spacers to ensure the bed clears in its lowest position. To attach it to the extrusion frame, I used M4x16 screws and stock T-nuts. Alternatively, you can use more standard M4x15 screws by simply sinking the spacer 1mm. The rest of the hardware is identical to what came with the kit. This KFB2.0 board is compatible with any printer and can be mounted directly to a 2020 extrusion. I've also uploaded a Repetier config file for the X5S, which should work seamlessly with any Ramps-compatible board.
