Keyway Peg/Slide for Tesa Micrometer
thingiverse
Replacement of missing keyway part from a Tesamaster micrometer with mechanical digit counter achieved using Fusion 360 to redesign cap90's "Brown & Sharpe Micrometer Part" scaled for printing with Cura. The redesigned keyway slide was extended to facilitate installation, but after numerous attempts one of the two pegs still managed to shear off. Despite this setback, the part functions correctly and the micrometer now operates properly, so further modification is unnecessary unless it fails again. This critical part was printed in PLA, however a stronger material is recommended for optimal performance.
