Keystone (RJ45) patch panel with sliding cover/base (5 ports)
thingiverse
This is a patch panel I designed to put in my comms cabinet in the new apartment. First I designed it to be a base mounted inside the cabinet, and slide the patch panel in - after putting in the keystone sockets. Then I decided I want the patch panel to not move at all, to be rock solid. So I designed v2 - where the panel is screwed into the cabinet inside wall, and the cover slides onto it. Features: * 1/5/6 ports * 2 part installation, easy maintenance - take off the cover or the panel, set your keystones, and close * Slide and click - after sliding in one part, you can push it vertically to be flush with the other part, you'll hear/feel a "click" that locks it into place. Apply pressure in the opposite direction, to release and slide out. * Hold the cables firmly in the special holes designed for them. You push them in, and they stay there. Versions: * v1 - Mountable base + sliding patch panel (5 ports) * v2 - Mountable panel + sliding cover (1 / 5 / 6 ports)
