thingiverse
Small tool to avoid pressing keys on a PIN terminal in the supermarket. Alternatives ---------- This small device can be worn as shown, but it can also be turned 180 degrees for added protection. This way, the tip of your finger remains safe from accidental key presses. You can print one or more of these devices for each of your fingers. Print two for a pinch grip, or use them individually. How to Create One ---------------- Measure the diameter of the second bone in your finger. Then, replace that measurement into the SCAD file using OpenScad software. This will generate a new STL model tailored to fit your specific finger size. The provided sample is based on my own finger measurements (20mm). The total length of this small device comes out to be 35mm.
