keychain tire and wheel AirTag
prusaprinters
Hi everyone!I wanted to have a keychain for my car that would incorporate an Airtag inside. The parts that make up this object are built with different materials. Everything is interlocking, except for the string which must be tied to the key.Below is the description for each individual object:Tire:TPU (required, otherwise it won't assemble)Wheel:PLA or PETGRing:PLA or PETGCylinder:TPU (I prefer it), PLA or PETGFor assembly, insert Airtag inside the Wheel and lock with the Ring. The Ring has two holes to be deformed with pliers in order to fit it in the seat of the Wheel.Pass a cord inside the two large holes of the Wheel and then close with the Tire.Personally I made sure that the knot of the cord happened inside the Tire in contact with the Wheel. The Cylinder is optional. I printed it to have a nice effect on the key.The Ring and the Wheel have been printed with variable height of the layers, in such a way as to have an external Wheel surface as clean as possible, while for the Ring the contact surface with AirTag is more precise to avoid coupling errors. For the Cylinder I used the Fuzzy Skyn option on the outer wall.In the project I also inserted the PrusaSlicer files in order to have the same settings as me. For the cord used in the photo, I took the 3mm diameter cord on aliexpress: https://it.aliexpress.com/item/4001034485994.htmlAlternatively, you can also use the 1.75mm TPU thread as a cord, in order to take advantage of 100% 3D printing without using screws or other foreign materials. Please insert the images of your creations, only in this way you encourage me to go on, perhaps it is even better than a Paypal donation.
