I love using Square (and Paypal, etc...) for mobile payments because it lets me take credit & debit cards from my smartphone, making it super convenient when I'm working on-site for a client or meeting someone to give them a consult. I haven't written a check in over two years now. But what's not fun is digging around in the bottom of my bag or pocket for my reader, or worse, forgetting it and leaving it at home or in another pair of trousers. To keep tabs on mine and make sure it's always with me, I came up with this keychain carrier. It features a detent rib to snugly hold the reader by engaging the card-reader slot, and a top-lid that has a post to engage the body of the case to help it stay aligned and secure when attached to a key-ring. The post is a through-hole design, allowing you to easily push it off from the back-side.
