This keychain pill bottle has an internal rotating shell with 4 compartments to separate different pills from each other. Some pills can look similar to each other so this provides a way to keep them apart. It's handy to be able to dump out only the pill needed at the time rather than rifling through a palm full of pills for the one needed.

This was printed at 0.12mm layer height. The bottom ring will need to be superglued or Glooped to the shell with the inner core in place. The unit relies on detents on the core to hold position and uses a small bump on the inside of the shell to fall into the detents to retain a position. This is an area that could use some improvement but it has worked for me for at least a year.

PLA or PLA+ is recommended for stiffness for improved detent wear. A softer material such as PETG may not retain positions as reliably over time; however, I have not tried it.

Step files are included so feel free to improve, extend the unit to a 7 day compartment or even add a spring backed detent ball bearing or whatever else may come to mind.
