Simple Flashlight Built Without Soldering Just Need One 3mm Straw Hat White LED Lamp Light Emitting 3V DC Diode And One 3V Button Cell CR2016L They Are Available At Amazon Instructions Follow Closely This Assemblage Requires Tight Tolerances 1 Clean Print Required First. 2 Shorter Wire Of The Diode Must Be Trimmable Trim It To Fit Inside The Recess On The Bottom Half Of The Case. 3 Other Positive Lead Needs To Be Truncated Cut It Back So It Extends Only 1/8th An Inch Past The Center Of The Battery. 4 Now, Place The Button Cell CR2016L Between The Two Leads With The Positive Side Facing Upwards. Securely Press It Into The Case Recess. 5 Ensure The Diode's Leads Are At Right Angles To The Case Apply A Tiny Amount Of Superglue To The Tip Of The Diode Hold Firmly In Place With Needle-Nose Pliers Until The Glue Dries. 6 Protect The Positive Lead Of The Diode By Adhering A Small Piece Of Tape To The Battery. This Will Prevent Any Short Circuits From Forming Near The Edge Of The Battery. 7 Enlarge Holes Gently Just Enough To Allow The Posts From The Other Side To Snugly Fit Inside. Reaming Too Much Will Compromise Structural Integrity. 8 Press Sides Together Snap Them Firmly Secure Until Locked Into Place Seams Can Be Tightened Further With Superglue If Desired Clamp Pliers Around Outer Edges Being Careful Not To Apply Pressure Near Center.
