This is a fantastic keychain with a cat design. The size of the keychain measures 50.304mm, making it an ideal compact size for your collection of keys. Growing up, I had cats as pets and I'm absolutely passionate about them - aren't you? If so, or if someone close to you shares this enthusiasm, then let's print this design in blue, black, white, pink, mint green, or any other color available on your filament spool. By the way, this print requires 0.58 meters (5 grams) of material from the end of your spool. I'd love to hear what you think about this keychain! Here's how I printed this model: with a white Ultimaker PLA filament at 0.2mm resolution and an infill percentage of 18%. My nozzle size is 0.4mm, and I used a brim for added stability. Now, let me walk you through the design process: First, I found a logo online, converted it to SVG format using Inkscape (check out the video*), and then imported it into Blender where I turned it into a 3D object. Next, I repaired the file in Meshmixer and edited some aspects before importing it into 123D Design where I subtracted the cat image from a pre-made keychain template. The finished model was exported to Netfabb Online Service for optimization, resulting in a smaller file size that I saved as an STL file and sliced for printing. If you're curious about how I turned a 2D picture into a 3D model, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6cmClwLhz8 (it's under 6 minutes long).
