The sliding button has a pre- and end lock position. There exist an audible click. To reduce the locking force, it is recommended to lubricate the carabiner. The carabiner works well with PLA. If it should be heat-resistant, PETG is recommended, whereby the latching force becomes somewhat lighter. In contrast to other designs, the plastic is not under tension in the pre-latching and end-latching positions, thus ensuring long-lasting use.The part can be printed without a support structures or with a support structure that touches the print bed. Infill must be 100 %. Layer thickness exactly 0.2 mm. The gap dimensions are 0.6 mm. The slide button must lie on the print bed.
