Duke University Logo and Keychain 45mm x 38.4mm x 3mm 8mm (0.31in) keychain hole. Printed on Ender 3 Pro. Print Time: 35 minutes Filament Usage: 3g Multi-color printing method 1: Print the "gluing guide" object file in your preferred color. This will be the color of the base of the keychain. Next, remove the gluing guide from the print bed and then print the "logo" object or logo with ring object in another color. Glue the pieces together using the gluing guide outline as a guide to gluing the logo Multi-color printing method 2: Print the "Base" object file in your preferred background color. This will be the color of the base of the keychain. Do not take this print off the bed after it is finished. Next, download the "logo with ring" object file. Change the filament color. In Cura, go to prefrences in the top left > configure cura > viewport behavior > and make sure drop models to buildplate is disabled. After that, go to setting in the top left > Configure settings visbility. Search up "remove." And make sure the visibility of "remove empty first layers is enabled." After that, you can change to your preferred print settings (infill, resolution etc.). After you have your print settings in, disable the setting "remove empty first layers." (under mesh fixes). Next click on the object in cura, and move the object up exactly 2mm. You are now able to slice and print the logo with ring in a new color. Essentially you are printing another object of a different color on the base. Tinkercad: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/dBMHKfm1jgK PLA: https://rb.gy/qhf2w9 Note: Magigoo was used for this print.
