Keycard Holder - Thundercats

<p>My daughter started a new job at a company that uses keycards for access. She came home with this plain white keycard in a clear envelope holder on a retractable tether. Totally generic. Not okay - not my kid, this we need to fix. So I suggested a cool holder that I would custom design for her but it should be something that she thought looked cool. Digging into her childhood she came up with the Thundercats. See? I raise them right - nerds to the end. So I modeled this badge holder to fit a standard ID card badge and remixed Tmatos cool Thundercats logo (<a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26996">http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26996</a>) to fit.</p> <h3>Instructions</h3> <p>Modeled in Inventor. Print slot opening down with a raft and I used 3 shells/15% fill, .15 resolution on a Replicator 2. Needed minor cleanup for webbing. Print the logo in a base color (red) until about 70% complete and then change filament to black to get the dual color. I hot glued the logo right on to the badge holder and then transferred her card and retractable tether.</p> Category: Office
