A Simple Solution for Keyboard Placement: Elevate Your Workspace To move your keyboard below desk level, you'll need a board cut to the desired size. This rectangular shape will provide the necessary space. The parts required are edge holders that work with any board size, as they simply support it from the edges. Various versions of these parts exist, catering to different material thicknesses. Check the file names for a gap measurement indicating the maximum board thickness each part can hold. Ideally, the gap should be 1 or 2mm larger than your material's thickness. Ensure either stops are placed on the tray's back to prevent pulling it out or cut the board large enough that all four mounts cannot be pulled while seated. These parts mount to the desk bottom using M3 screws. I've successfully drilled 2.5mm holes into particle board without tapping, and eight M3x12 screws hold firmly in place. Printing with at least three outer layers increases strength significantly compared to increased infill.
