Key Tray

I reside in a compact apartment, where space is at a premium. Upon returning home, I typically place my keys, wallet, and ID on the counter directly in front of the microwave, which unfortunately blocks the door from opening fully. Although this spot had become my preferred location, it lacked sufficient room for everything. To address this issue, I designed a tray that can be easily attached to any table, thereby freeing up extra space for placing items. To prevent scratches on the wood table, I added felt to the inside of the clamp. While this may have been unnecessary, I took precautions nonetheless. The tray is designed with removability in mind, allowing it to be detached when needed. I'm currently exploring additional attachments that can be used in conjunction with this clamp design. I'm also working on transforming this tray into a dice box for our Dungeons & Dragons sessions. During games, the table becomes cluttered with papers, leaving no room for a dedicated dice rolling tray. By creating a tray that attaches to the side of the table, I aim to solve this problem. Although the current design could be adapted as a D&D dice tray, I plan to enhance it with custom features and designs to make it an official dice box.
