Key to the Bastille

thingiverse

On July 14th, 1789, during the French Revolution, the Bastille fortress was stormed. The Marquis de Lafayette presented a replica of the Bastille key to George Washington in 1790. This iconic symbol is now displayed at Mount Vernon's museum. Celebrate Bastille Day by creating your own replica - time is running out! Created by Todd Blatt. To craft this key, print both halves and glue them together. Utilize mouse ears to prevent curling if necessary. Despite the mouse ears extending slightly off the bed at full scale, it will still function effectively. -Todd
