Key style filament guides for the Geeetech Acrylic Prusa i3
thingiverse
The edges of my Geetech acrylic Prusa i3 display board are rather sharp, and filament fed from behind tends to rub against them or even get pulled into the corner where the display board meets the main upper bridge. So I designed a few things that should make the filament run over this edge more smoothly. The first variant is closed in on itself, requiring me to slice it open or ensure that the filament runs through it when loading. The second option, Key2, features a clip-on side that's been sliced in half, allowing for easy insertion of the filament. The third and best option so far, Key4, has an opening hook mechanism at the front, making it a breeze to load and unload my filament.
