Key-sized MicroSD card holder
thingiverse
This is a tiny SD card holder designed to fit neatly on your keychain. It has the same thickness as a regular key and is about as wide as a small one. The trickiest part of this print is the large, thin overhang that makes up the micro SD card slot. What I do is let the printer build up the walls of the slot until they are at least 0.8mm thick, then pause the print and insert the micro SD card into the slot. When the printer does the overhang, your SD card acts as a support material! The print material doesn't stick to the SD card, so once finished the fit is perfect. It's snug enough to keep the card from falling out on its own - it takes a pound or two to pull it. Print at 0.2mm layer height or smaller. Choose your perimeters and wall thickness so that the eyelet becomes solid plastic. For mine I used 50% infill. I created this model with SolveSpace, and included the source file if you want to customize it!
