I recently rekeyed our locks using a key that has a sweet spot requiring 20 thou of pull to engage the tumblers, unfortunately. This resulted in me designing and printing a small shim to allow for precise alignment without any jiggling. Meant specifically for Schlage keys, If it's a bit too large, try sanding one side for a finer fit.
