Key Organizer
thingiverse
I was fed up with the bulk of my previous key chain so I designed a knife-like folding key organizer from scratch. Drawing inspiration from numerous commercial and 3D enthusiast designs I've seen around, but opting to design mine with resources already at my disposal proved less complicated. This organizer employs M4 lock nuts and x25mm bolts for a sturdy build. The spacers are printed as one piece but snap apart effortlessly by hand. A key ring will limit movement for the key closest to its side, so I recommend placing a spacer there for extra room. To achieve maximum strength, print at 30% infill. Printer Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Printrbot Plus Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 30% Notes: I used Wood-like ABS for my print and lightly sanded it for a smoother finish. This design was modeled using Autodesk Fusion 360.
