Key of Aaravos - illuminated working prop

After devouring the entire series of The Dragon Prince on Netflix, I embarked on a mission to create a working replica of the Key of Aravos, an enchanted device from the show. Rather than settling for a static prop, I opted to build a fully functional version, leveraging my creativity and expertise to bring this magical artifact to life in our mundane world. The Cube relies on a mesmerizing Neopixel ring and precious jewels embedded within each face, cleverly positioned behind translucent openings that frame the intricate runes. An advanced accelerometer and capacitive sense board are employed to accurately detect which side should be illuminated at any given time. This ingenious device is controlled by a powerful Trinket M0 microcontroller running CircuitPython, while a robust 1000mAh lithium polymer battery provides the necessary power.
