Experts firmly believe it was crafted around 1300 AD and beautifully preserved by the wet, oxygen-free environment it was submerged in for centuries. The sculpture you see here is a scan of the original, which stands about 3 inches tall. Today, this incredible relic can be found at the Smithsonian Institution.
