Key Holder - Low Profile Magnetic
thingiverse
A low-profile key holder for stashing outside somewhere safely is a must-have for any homeowner. My wife had our 2-year-old lock herself out of the house one evening when she stepped out to grab the mail while I was away, and she had to wait 45 minutes for someone with a spare key to come and unlock the door. Needless to say, she put me on the job to hide a key outside quickly. The lid is universal and will work with any of the "boxes". Print the lid and one of the three "boxes" that come with it. Included are two custom versions (Emtek and Kwikset) for those or similar styles, as well as an empty version that can be used for other styles or anything you choose. There are four holes for 4mmx2mm magnets that will hold everything in place securely. STEP and Fusion 360 files are included if you want to customize them further. Print Settings: Printer: Wilson 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.10mm Infill: 100% Notes: Supports are not required, as the overhangs are at an angle and there are only short bridges over the top of the 4mm magnets. You could probably get away with 0.20mm layer heights, but you'll lose some fidelity in the chamfered lip that retains the lid.
