Our house keys are resting on our wooden front door's frame, giving my 2.5-year-old son an easy way to lock the door without being able to open it himself. One day, a key falls off and he locks the door, but then can't unlock it again. Luckily, another key works for the adjacent door, so we're able to get inside. That's when I came up with this idea: using OpenSCAD, we can customize a small gap between the door frame and the wall.
