Update: Re-created guard with no overlap. A small channel on top of the right hand side allows me to weld the two sides together using a handheld 3D pen and the original filament. Below are the directions for making other Proloquo cell configurations. Using an iPad with Proloquo: 1. Take a screenshot of a blank 77-cell Proloquo board. 2. Edit the picture in MS Paint to fill in the areas around the cells with black. 3. Upload the picture to Online Convert.com and convert it to an SVG file: https://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-svg 4. Import the SVG file into Tinkercad at 19.336% (this resizes the SVG file to the exact width of an iPad screen). 5. Change the object from a solid to an empty and place it over a box with the same dimensions, then join the two items together to make your template. 6. Change the template from a solid to an empty and center it over a box with the dimensions 212.58 mm x 165.10 mm. 7. Join the two items together; if you have a large enough 3D printer, you can print this file directly; otherwise, split it into two sides. This is a guard for an augmentative communication device made by combining a GoNow Rugged case and an iPad 2 with the Proloquo2Go app's 77 cells and message window size set to very small. A guard helps eliminate accidental activation by touch of other cells.
