Key for outdoor water faucet

Outdoor water faucets tend to shed their plastic keys during winter. Next time this happens, simply print yourself a new one using a 3D printer. The key was printed in ABS plastic, which sometimes requires repair during printing, particularly under overhangs. As an alternative to MakerWare's automatic support structures, we decided to create our own manually. This was easily done within netfabb Studio Basic by generating flat box primitives and placing them beneath the overhang areas of the model as well as intersecting them with it. This method is often preferred for supporting only necessary overhang parts of a 3D model. The bright green color chosen makes the printed key stand out on the ground if it were to fall off and get lost again.
